It is one of the must-visit places in Chikmagalur and Dakshina Kannada. It is situated in Mudigere Taluk of Chikmagalur and Belthangady in Dakshina Kannada. The Ghat Road connects these two districts. It is 37 km away from Mudigere and 25 km from Belthangdi.
The Ghat is known for its stunning beauty, lush forest, streams, and stunning waterfalls. Visiting this Ghat and driving here will give you a different experience. Curvy and misty roads, mountains, and valleys, as well as many waterfalls along the way, add to the beauty of the Ghat.

How to reach Charmadi Ghat
There are three options to reach the Charmadi Ghat.
By road
Kottigehara and Ujire are the nearest towns to Charmadi Ghat, which is 20 km away from Kottigehara and 18 km away from Belthangady.
If you are coming from Bangalore, drive towards Chikmagalur via NH75 and then take the route to Charmadi Ghat via Mudigere and Kottigehara. This Ghat will be around 340 km from Bangalore and 66 km from Chikmagalur.
From Mangalore, drive towards Mudigere via Ujire. It is situated on this route, which you will come across before Mudigere, which is 84 km from Mangalore and 37 km before Mudigere.
By train
Mangaluru Junction is the nearest railway station to Charmadi Ghat, which is 77 km away. To reach Ghat, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to Mudigere.
By air
