Exploring this stunning waterfall is another level of experience. It is situated inside the Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary, making it even more adventurous. How to reach Hebbe Falls

Hebbe Falls is located 65 km from Chikmagalur.

To reach the waterfalls, first, you have to reach Hebbe Falls Vehicle Entry Check Post near Kemmangundi from Chikmagalur. Then the journey to Hebbe Falls will start from here.

There are 2 options to reach Hebbe Falls. Trekking and hire a 4×4 jeep.

By trekking: The trek to Hebbe Falls will be about 8 to 10 km and will go through coffee plantations and dense forests. Going by jeep will be a better option.

By 4×4 vehicle: To reach the waterfalls by a 4×4 jeep, you will have to take a jeep from the checkpost. This journey will also be very interesting, the route will pass through dense forests, offering an adventure offroading experience and the possibility to spot animals.

The jeep will not take us directly to the waterfalls, it will drop you at some distance. From there you will get 2 hours to explore the waterfalls. You will have to trek for 15 minutes to reach Hebbe Falls, which includes crossing 2 water streams, adding more fun.

• There is no shop available near Hebbe Falls, so carry some food items with you, like snacks and a water bottle.
• The forest department gives only 2 hours to explore the waterfalls. Try to enjoy Hebbe Falls within the given time. If you need more time, you can talk to them and extend the time a little.
• You will find leeches everywhere, so apply Dettol on your feet or shoes. This will help prevent leeches from sticking to you.
• If you want to explore Hebbe Falls and also want some peace, then don’t go on weekends as it will be very crowded. Try to plan on weekdays.
• Do not throw the plastic, bottles, and garbage. If you have garbage with you, bring it with you and put it in the dustbin itself. Try to clean nature.
