Well, Manikyadhara waterfalls can be visited anytime in the year; it is said that its water does not dry even in peak summer months. But if we talk about the best time to visit Manikyadhara Falls, then the post-monsoon season will be the best. At this time you will get to see pleasant weather and good water flow.

But the vehicle you go by cannot go directly to Manikya Dhara. You will have to park your vehicle near Shirne in Baba Budangiri, 2-3 km before Manikya Dhara.

From there, you have two options for going to the waterfalls: trekking or renting a 4×4 jeep.

By Trekking: This will be a 2 to 3-km hike in which you have to go over rolling hills and paths. During this, you will see amazing views of mountains and lush greenery, and some lakes will also be seen all around. But it is a little time-consuming.

By 4×4 jeep: There will be lots of vehicles, that will take you to Manikya Dhara. You can rent a full jeep, or you can share. On this route, you will enjoy off-road adventure and this route passes through the mountains, so you will get to see amazing scenery.

After reaching Manikya Dhara vehicle parking, you will have to climb down around 200 steps to reach the waterfalls, which is easy.

• You will find some shops and hotels near Manikyadhara waterfalls, so do not bring too many food items with you.
• Plastic is banned in the Baba Budangiri range, so carry water in a steel bottle.
• Jeep Rental, they will ask you for a higher fare for the jeep but do not pay more than Rs 400 – 500 for the whole jeep.
• If you are a solo traveler, you can share the jeep, there would be other travelers also who would like to go by sharing.
• Some monkeys near Manikyadhara Falls might snatch things from you, so take care of your mobile, purse, and food items.
